Interactive Cultural Displays

Located inside Cafe 13, we have an entire room dedicated to information about Scottish-Manitoban Culture. Visit our various booths and displays for information and demonstrations on spinning wool into yarn with Deb Stewart & Bronwyn Swanson, tracing your family tree with the Manitoba Genealogical Society, Highland Dancing with the Manitoba Highland Dancers’ Association, learning about the pipes & drums with the Prairie Pipe Band Association of Manitoba, participation dancing with the Royal Scottish Country Dancers Society and the Lads & Lasses,  joining the St Andrew’s Society of Winnipeg and many more…

The Scotch Glen

Before you leave, make sure to visit the Scotch Glen. This is so much more than a secondary bar area. Stop by for a lesson on the history, varieties and distilling of Scotch Whisky. You can purchase a full 1-ounce or two 1/2-ounce samples from our selection of fine, aged  Single Malt Scotches, in addition to other beverage options. We have a fine selection of Imported lagers, ales & stout. There are some nice liqueurs available or you can try our new Signature Cocktail, Unicorn Dreams. Feel free to sit and socialize, mingle and visit the nearby Hint of Heather gift shop.
