2024 Ambassadors

Sam Windsor, Adult Ambassador
Sam has been volunteering with the Pavilion of Scotland for several years from getting her highland dancers on stage to working the bar and parking lot security. Her family history has Scots on all sides and she has enjoyed learning more about her heritage. Sam is a teacher and enjoys crafting and talking about Disney in her free time.
Jim Carrigan, Adult Ambassador
Jim has been active member of the Scottish Community and Pavilion of Scotland for many years. He was previously an Adult Ambassador in 2006.
Abby Sigurdson, Youth Ambassador
Abby's love of Highland Dance started the first time she attended the Pavillion of Scotland when she was 4 years old. Since then, she has danced every year either with the Manitoba Highland Dance Association Dancers or the Ena Sutton Highland Dancers. Abby is grateful for the incredible experiences highland dance has given her during her 11 years of dancing. She is excited to share her love of highland dance and Scottish culture with you as one of the Youth Ambassador's this year.
Mac, Youth Ambassador
Mac is excited to be the Youth Ambassador as they have been volunteering at Folklorama for several years now. After visiting the Pavilion of Scotland at 5 years old to watch the highland dancers, they decided that was what they wanted to do and has been dancing ever since. Mac is going into grade 12 at JH Bruns and hoping to visit Scotland again next year.
