Heather Manz (nee Anderson)

Heather Manz was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and dedicated community member whose warmth and generous spirit brought happiness to those around her.

Heather shared 35 years of marriage with her loving husband, Kevin. Together they raised their sons, James, Cory, and Christopher, and built a family life filled with affection, companionship, and cherished memories.

Her four grandsons held an especially important place in her heart. Heather delighted in spending time with them, following their lives, and sharing in the everyday moments that made being a grandmother such a source of joy.

Heather was an active participant in the Rebekah Lodge, where she enjoyed fellowship, lasting friendships, and opportunities to serve others.

Her Scottish heritage was also important to her. As a longtime member of the Sons of Scotland, Heather continued a family tradition of involvement in Winnipeg’s Scottish community and helped sustain the friendships and fellowship at its heart.

Heather enjoyed travelling with Kevin, particularly their casino getaways. These trips offered them time together, plenty of entertainment, and many happy memories.

She is lovingly remembered by Kevin; her sons and their families; her siblings, Sandy, Andrew, Duncan, and Laurie; her nephews and niece; and the many friends whose lives were brightened by knowing her.

Heather passed away on December 31, 2020.
