Judith Conway

Judith Mary “Judi” Conway was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and community volunteer whose warmth and generosity brought her many lasting friendships.

Judi shared her life with her husband, Ray, and was a loving mother to Dale and Tara. She took particular joy in being a grandmother to Riley and remained closely connected to her brother, Bill, her extended family, and her many friends.

Community involvement was an important part of Judi’s life. For many years, she volunteered with both the Irish and Scottish Folklorama pavilions, contributing to the friendship, hospitality, and cultural celebration at the heart of the festival.

Judi also gave generously of her time to local community centres. Through these organizations, she helped create welcoming places where neighbours could gather, participate, and build lasting connections.

Judi passed away on June 14, 2012, at the age of 68. Her family announced her passing with heavy hearts but also with wonderful memories of the life they shared.
