May 16, 1935 - June 4, 2008

Through public service, fellowship, and a lasting commitment to his family and community, Norm touched many lives and is remembered with great affection.

Norman George “Norm” Clark was born in London, England, and came to Canada with his family in 1968, settling in Winnipeg.

Norm built a long career with the Province of Manitoba. He retired in 1993 as Manager of the Provincial Records Centre, a position that reflected his many years of dedicated public service.

He was actively involved in several fraternal and community organizations, including Sturgeon Creek Masonic Lodge No. 145, St. James Chapter No. 25 of the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Air Force Association. Norm was also a valued member of the Pavilion of Scotland family, sharing in its celebration of Scottish heritage, fellowship, and community.

A devoted Winnipeg Jets supporter, Norm belonged to the Winnipeg Jets Booster Club and remained a loyal fan through the team’s many seasons.

Norm shared his life with his beloved wife, Irene, who predeceased him in 2005. He was a devoted father to Maria and Karen, a proud grandfather and great-grandfather, and a cherished friend to many.

Norm passed away on June 4, 2008, at the age of 73.
